Profiteering remains a perennial issue

In this interview, Dr Veerinderjeet Singh, Senior Advisor on Tax Policy at KPMG in Malaysia, provided his input on consumption taxes and profiteering. He opined that better accountability from the government is needed and suggested anti-profiteering measures, such as the establishment of a monitoring system in collaboration with relevant ministries, to address business profiteering concerns.
