‘GST critical to restoring the country’s fiscal health’

In this interview, Ng Sue Lynn, Head of Indirect Tax at KPMG in Malaysia, gave her input on the possible reintroduction of the goods and services tax (GST). She added that should the GST be reintroduced, it is imperative for the rakyat to understand the GST's objective and mechanism, and as for businesses, monitoring systems must be put in place to address past challenges of the GST.
