Phang Oy Cheng, Head of Sustainability Advisory at KPMG in Malaysia points out that not all companies that provide vague information about their ESG/CSR efforts are greenwashing. The lack of sustainability data in a company's sustainability report may be due to multiple factors, such as oversight or a lack of understanding.
