In this virtual interview broadcasted in Astro Awani, Soh Lian Seng, Head of Tax at KPMG in Malaysia, talks about the governments’ commitment to help the rakyat’s wellbeing through the Budget 2023 proposals.

When asked about the ability of the government to finance this year’s budget, Soh expounds that for the long-term, it is the government’s challenge that they need to look at – and as there is no major tax reform announced this year, concerns may arise if the current position continues.
