KPMG named Malaysia’s Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year at the ITR Asia-Pacific Tax Awards 2022
KPMG won 21 national and regional awards to emerge the leading Tax firm across Asia Pacific
PETALING JAYA, 1 September 2022 – KPMG was named Malaysia’s Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year at the International Tax Review (ITR) Asia-Pacific Tax Awards 2022. This was one of 21 region-wide awards won by the professional services firm, resulting in KPMG being crowned the Asia-Pacific Tax Firm of the Year.
Regionally, KPMG also claimed the Tax Transactions, Tax Policy and Tax Technology Firm of the Year. Notable achievements in tax disputes helped KPMG firms to be cited as Tax Disputes Firm of the Year in Singapore, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan. In addition to Malaysia, KPMG firms were also recognized for their Transfer Pricing work in India, Thailand and Vietnam.
The ITR Asia-Pacific Tax Awards 2022 Impact Deals of the Year category also recognized three projects by KPMG firms, which required highly sophisticated advice to steer through the complex demands of high-profile cross-border transactions.
