KPMG in Malaysia’s Managing Partner, Datuk Johan Idris wrote a commentary on the ‘KPMG 2018 Global CEO Outlook: Growing Pains’ where he provided an in-depth analysis of the report. He noted that the global business leaders have an optimistic outlook as 90 percent of them are feeling confident about their company’s growth prospect in the next 3 years. However, that optimism is married with a healthy dose of realism as 55 percent of global CEOs are predicting a cautious revenue growth of less than 2 percent in that same period of time.
