Survey: Implementation of e-Invoicing in Malaysia

e-Invoicing will be mandated in Malaysia through phased implementation beginning 1 August 2024 applicable to large corporations that record annual revenues of RM100mil and above. The second phase will begin on 1 January 2025 for companies with annual revenue between RM25mil and RM100mil, and the final phase is for all businesses to have implemented e-invoicing by 1 July 2025.

Since this mandate was announced during the re-tabling of the Malaysia Budget 2023, many developments have taken place, such as the release of e-Invoicing guidelines, FAQs, software development kit, development of the MyInvois portal, countless engagement sessions by the tax authority and many more.

Through this online survey, KPMG in Malaysia seeks to determine how companies in Malaysia are preparing to implement e-Invoicing and identify common challenges during this transition as we countdown to 1 August 2024.

Participate in our survey by 11 July 2024:
