Ng Siew Mei

Siew Mei is currently an audit executive director at KPMG in Malaysia with around 18 years of audit experience, including 18 months at KPMG in the United States. Her experience with the firm includes auditing public listed and multinational companies primarily in the consumer and industrial products market segment. During her 18 months rotation in the United States, she was mainly involved in the audit of SEC registrants that were in relation to the banking and financial services industry.

Her current role mainly relates to deployment of audit tools such as eAudIT and KPMG Clara workflow and related product suite (including data analytics tools), development of audit course materials and audit related guidance for the firm and handling consultation requests from audit engagement teams. Siew Mei is also part of the audit quality team to perform review of audit engagements and Software Audit Tool (“SAT”) team to evaluate new tools purchased and developed for the purpose of audit.
