Shoebox Initiative - The idea behind this initiative is to give Christmas gifts (in a standard, though wrapped up shoebox) to children in institutes around the island.  Each member on the Social Committee was assigned one or more institutes to take care of in order to collect the shoeboxes. Contents of the boxes were fun and educational items. On average each person spent between €15 - €20 on each Christmas shoe box. All in all 240 shoeboxes were collected and distributed
