Acquiring and consuming unstructured data poses numerous challenges; from diverse data formats to the need for advanced processing techniques, organisations face hurdles in effectively extracting insights from unstructured data, hindering their ability to make informed decisions and derive value from this critical resource. Generative AI models highlight the power of technology. They have the potential to make us more productive and can make what we do easier in some respects. However, these models come with risk implications that all organisations should be aware of. We need to determine how to embrace them — but safely.

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) accelerates the process of extracting, understanding, transforming, and identifying the real value of this unstructured data in a modality (such as text) that is easily comprehensible and understood. In this regard, we shall discuss how new insights can be uncovered and generated from unstructured data with the use of Generative AI. We shall also discuss applicable use cases across different sectors where such a technology can bring value and leave an impact on society at large, whilst adhering to the latest laws and regulations such as the EU AI Act. |
