Eric joined KPMG in Malta in 2008, following his graduation from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) Degree in Management. Since joining the firm, he has been awarded an ACCA qualification and progressed his professional career within the Corporate Accounting Advisory team. He currently plays a key role in leading a sizeable team of over 40 accountants, providing an array of outsourced corporate accounting services and VAT compliance solutions. Eric has experience in servicing both local and foreign clients across various industries, including companies engaged in Aircraft leasing, software development, professional services, international trading of goods, intellectual property development, financial services, telecommunication services, and holding companies. Service offerings include book-keeping and assistance with the preparation of financial statements under both the local GAPSME framework and the IFRS Framework, secondment of accounting staff, accounting advice, preparation of consolidated financial statements, preparation of interim accounts, and VAT compliance services. On several occasions, Eric has also delivered various technical presentations, both through the KPMG Learning Academy and other professional training institutions, such as the Malta Institute of Accountants and Society Education. Areas covered include the local GAPSME accounting framework, accounting for deferred tax, statement of cash flows, and accounting for certain assets under the IFRS framework.
