I chose KPMG because I felt welcomed by it’s friendly people from the day I had my first interview. Since then KPMG has proved time and time again that it is a people’s firm where employees are respected individuals who are given endless opportunities to grow, learn and develop their skills in the world of business.
With the help of KPMG and my leaders I have been given the opportunity to develop a passion for tax advisory, an area I would have never imagined I would work in during my time at University. I was given the option to experience tax in my first summer as a student with KPMG with the flexibility that a student at my age would be longing for as part of their journey to understand what each area entails and where they want to develop a career. As part of the tax team at KPMG I was given the chance to work with different clients in different industries ranging from a typical local family business to large multi-nationals.
KPMG has been the ideal set up for me to grow, with opportunities ranging from the possibility to further my studies, to work on ever-changing engagements, to present technical presentations both internally and to clients and to learn the art of business development both locally and abroad. With tailor-made training courses ranging from technical training to soft skills training, I feel that KPMG provides it’s employees with the right tools to help them develop during the course of their career.
