Emigrating from my home in the Philippines to work abroad was the biggest challenge I have had to face, but the anticipation of joining KPMG in Malta kept me optimistic and excited throughout the relocation process during the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic.
I began my journey at KPMG in Audit-Banking and Asset Management, where I had the opportunity to work on various projects with an incredible group of professionals. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights and relevant skills. After two years within Audit, I was thrilled to move into a new role within Risk Consulting Advisory Services. Collaborating with such an amazing and supportive team has opened new doors for me in the field of Advisory, including Internal Audit, Regulatory, and Compliance Advisory services. My current main area of focus is with the Investment Services team. Throughout these varied experiences, I have undergone significant professional development.
Being part of such a dynamic and supportive family, where growth is nurtured both professionally and personally, has been an extraordinary privilege. It truly feels like my new home away from home.
