KPMG Monaco qualified PASSI by AMSN
KPMG Monaco has obtained its qualification as an Audit Service Provider of Information Systems (PASSI) with the AMSN.
KPMG GLD & Associés Monaco is now part of the very small circle of companies that have obtained the Information Systems Security Audit Service Provider (PASSI) qualification from the Monegasque authorities.
Presented by the Director of the Monegasque Digital Security Agency (AMSN) Mr. Dominique Riban in person to Mr. Stéphane GARINO, Partner and President of KPMG GLD & Associés Monaco in the presence of Mr. François DAURE, IT Advisory Director, the PASSI diploma attests to the status of leader of the historical audit and consulting firm in Monaco and its ability to help companies obtain the valuable PASSI certification in the Principality of Monaco.
The PASSI qualified companies in Monaco are able to audit the security of IT systems by following a strict certification process and the PASSI standard, as defined by Ministerial Decree 2017-625 of August 16, 2017.
PASSI approval allows the certification of the following points: :
- Guarantee of competence of auditors in charge of the audit
- Guarantee of ethics, protection and confidentiality of data, reports and documents exchanged
- Guarantee of an appropriate methodology for security audits
- Recourse possible to the Monegasque Digital Security Agency (AMSN) if the service provided does not comply with the PASSI standard.
This approach is part of the national strategy for digital security of the Monegasque Digital Security Agency (AMSN) to implement, according to the will of the Government "a strong, safe, sustainable Monegasque cyber space, which allows the Principality to look serenely towards the future."
Only 5 companies in total are PASSI qualified in the Principality of Monaco (at the time of this writing) with the endorsement of COFRAC, the French national accreditation body which attests to the competence and impartiality of certification bodies. .
"We are delighted by the recognition by AMSN of KPMG Monaco's capacities in terms of audit and cybersecurity. With this qualification, our firm is now fully able to enable Monegasque organizations to protect themselves, in particular against cyber risks. attacks, hacking or industrial espionage, and to receive the precious sesame of PASSI certification attesting to the efficiency of their digital environment," Mr. Stéphane Garino said.
