      KPMG has helped the Office of Academic Affairs of the University of Tartu and the academic staff create and implement the large language model (LLM) "MS Azure OpenAi", the safer alternative to the popular "Chat GPT".

This is essentially at least as good a tool as ChatGPT (including versions 3.5 and 4), but it lacks the privacy risks, data security risks, and commercial exploitation risks arising from Chat GPT's privacy policy, which assumes that all information entered into it is collected and may also be used to create new programs and services.

      In a joint effort with KPMG in Estonia, KPMG in Latvia supported the University of Tartu in setting up the MS Azure OpenAI API, as well as API management and monitoring. KPMG experts also trained administrators to quickly build up fairly specific technical knowledge needed to manage and administer the University’s Microsoft LLM cloud account. This is a good example of using LLM in a responsible and risk-aware organisation.
