KPMG establishes  KPMG Lighthouse the Center of Excellence for  Data, AI & Emerging Technologies in Latvia to  support clients across Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden, as well as global clients  in using new technologies to reduce costs, manage risk and optimize their operating models.

“Technology transforms the way business is done, from strategy to delivery. But data, AI & emerging technologies can only be as good as the data that supports them. At the Lighthouse we will be helping businesses and industries to create a competitive advantage by unlocking the value of their data and tapping into unique sources of external data. The Lighthouse will play a significant role in digitalization of audit processes and tax as well,” says Armine Movsisjana, Managing partner, KPMG in Latvia.

AI is fundamentally reinventing how businesses operate, compete and thrive. For example, lowers labour costs, increases workforce capacity, increases quality and, ultimately, delivers more insights — more consistently.

“AI enables new prosperous business models, higher utilization of assets, faster profitable product launches, higher accuracy in forecasting and optimizing footprint - it is beneficial for the society as well. These are just few reasons why KPMG is investing in the Center of Excellence for Data, AI & Emerging Technologies,” says Ulf Borgcrantz, Partner & Chief Digital Officer in KPMG Sweden.

To help companies profit from data, AI and emerging technologies, The Lighthouse will provide functional expertise combined with some of the best in tech talent, offerings and alliances that KPMG has globally, including leading technology providers Google Cloud, IBM, Microsoft and Oracle,” says Armine Movsisjana, Managing partner, KPMG in Latvia.

To expand the team in upcoming months KPMG Lighthouse will hire top talents in Software and data engineering, data science, cloud engineering, UX/UI design, business intelligence and other related areas.
