Ieva has over 12 years of relevant experience as a professional lawyer with general specialization in civil, commercial and administrative law. Ieva has advised sell and buy sides all through complex and large merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, assisted on restructuring, liquidation and cross-border merger engagements, advised on general corporate matters and provided and supervised day-to-day legal support to market leading companies of different industries.Ieva started her legal practice back in 2003 as associate with a local law office where she worked until joining one of the leading business law firms in the Baltic market (Raidla, Lejins & Norcous, now rebranded to Cobalt) in 2007. Since then in her capacity as senior associate Ieva has been advising on real estate transactions and construction law, participated and lead numerous cross-border and local M&A engagements.Before establishing KPMG Law firm Ieva was contracted by KPMG Baltics SIA in 2012 to advise KPMG Baltics SIA and, on its behalf, multinational investors. During this period, Ieva also was engaged as a legal expert in numerous significant research projects and worked on legal and corporate governance models for the public sector.
