IT Audit Associate / Senior Associate in KPMG Latvia will demonstrate and share practical experience and technical knowledge in IT audit, business and accounting processes, as well as possess powerful communication and time management skills
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, lead and execute the day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements for a variety of clients including such tasks as reviewing Access to programs and data, Program change management, Program development and Computer operations
- Executing tests for various application level controls
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT general and application controls
- Identify and communicate IT audit findings to senior management and clients
- Identify performance improvement opportunities and recommendation for assigned clients
- Opportunity to develop your skills and help your team members to grow
- Work with experienced colleagues, enthusiastic team members and cooperation with colleagues from the KPMG Nordic network

Education and experience
- Higher education in business information systems, Management technology, Computer Engineering, Accounting, or an appropriate field
- CISA, CISM, ITIL or other relevant IT certification will be considered an advantage
- Experience in internal or external IT audit, IT risk and compliance, business process, or compliance audit
Technical skills
- Good knowledge or ability to understand audit and accounting principles
- Good command of spoken and written English and Latvian
Personal attributes
- You have strong leadership and communication skills
- You are a self-motivated, ambitious and pro-active person, and a “team player” who demonstrates good critical thinking skills
- You pay attention to details and are capable to work within tight deadlines in a demanding and competitive environment
