Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist your direct manager and senior specialists in financial investigations regarding document forgery, and insolvency matters
  • Ensure and coordinate the review, evaluation and adjustment of submitted audit engagement documentation, and monitor and manage the implementation of the assigned engagements
  • Deliver good quality in the work by ensuring that the review is prepared in accordance with the current audit methodology, regulations and internal routines
  • Independently communicate with the client withing the project work
  • Train more junior colleagues by delegating tasks, reviewing their work and providing feedback

Education and experience
  • You have 2 or more years of experience as an auditor
  • You have knowledge in financial accounting
  • You have an understanding of audit and are familiar with International Standards on Auditing
  • You have university degree in Finance, Accounting or a related area
  • Knowledge in accounting or finance control will be considered an advantage

Technical skills

  • You have skills to outline topics and problem solutions in writing
  • You are familiar with accounting, preparation of annual reports and related regulations
  • You are proficient in MS Office, in particular Word, MS Excel
  • You are fluent in Latvian and English, both written and verbal

Personal attributes

  • You have high sense of responsibility, analytical and decision-making skills as well as you are accurate
  • You are able to work within tight deadlines in a demanding and competitive environment
  • You have the ability to set priorities and organize daily work
  • You are a self-motivated and pro-active person with good communication skills, a ‘team player‘
