Ilze is a tax consulting specialist with over 18 years of experience providing in-depth tax solutions to both Latvian and international companies. Her expertise includes corporate group restructuring, including value chain optimization, transformation planning of group operational models from the perspective of tax efficiency and compliance, as well as strategic planning for mergers, acquisitions, and spin-offs at both corporate and private levels. She has extensive experience in tax compliance issues, including in-depth tax audits, tax risk analysis, and defense in tax administration audits and litigation. Ilze has also acted as an independent tax expert in legal proceedings.
Since 2006, Ilze has specialized in transfer pricing matters, participating in complex projects related to transaction structure and pricing planning, preparation of transfer pricing documentation, as well as client representation in tax audits and disputes, negotiations of advance pricing agreements (APA), and mutual agreement procedures.
Regularly speaking at conferences and seminars, Ilze shares her experience and practical solutions in the field of taxation. She also gives guest lectures at universities and is an experienced lecturer on various tax topics.
