France – Cross-border fund notifications: New templates
On 15 July 2024 the Autorité des Marches Financiers (AMF) in France issued and published new notification templates, effective immediately. The templates were updated following the publication of the European Commission’s new Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) and Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on 25 March 2024 and concerns cross-border management activities of French Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFMs) and UCITS management companies as well as cross-border marketing activities of French AIFMs and UCITS.
The AMF highlighted that the purpose of these new templates is to harmonise not only the content of the information notified in respect of the cross-border distribution of funds, but also the information notified in respect of the activities of management companies under the UCITS and AIFM Directives.
