At KPMG, we recognize the pressing opportunities and challenges posed by climate change for both ourselves and our stakeholders, and we embrace our responsibility to tackle this formidable challenge head-on.

Decreased 2023 energy emissions under Scope 2 compared to 2022 as a result of our energy reduction plan

Promoted the importance of waste separation and introduced additional organic waste bins

Provided employees with the opportunity to order boxes from on.perfekt filled with vegetables deemed unfit for sale in markets or surpluses

Encouraged employees to visit our bee hives and learn more about their importance and function for biodiversity

Nearly half (45 percent) of our suppliers come from Luxembourg and neighboring countries

Saved over 170kg of leftover food from being discarded after events by collaborating with Foodsharing Luxembourg

Organized 3 Grous Boutz challenges, with several teams organizing a clean-up of the city

Many initiatives were brought to life during the year, and we are already looking forward to the next ones. Thanks to our #TeamBlue volunteers who dedicated their time and shared their skills, we nearly doubled our volunteering hours in the past year. This resulted in making great memories and connections, and we aim to achieve a similar impact in the coming year, encouraging our employees to join us on this journey.
