Switzerland: Updated request and notification form
In January 2023, the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (“FINMA”) updated their request and notification form available on the EHP platform, bringing changes to existing procedures.
Up until this point, FINMA used to request a cover page signed by various parties, such as fund/management company, depositary and representative, when submitting a Prospectus and Articles of Incorporation/Management Regulations or equivalent. With the revised version of the request and notification form, the FINMA no longer requires the signature of these cover pages.
Instead, in the new version of the request and notification form, a confirmation is to be provided that the entities which used to sign the cover pages are aware of the new version and have approved it.
