Thamali introduced the Family Business Advisory to KPMG in Sri Lanka during 2013 and she leads the Restructuring, corporate Governance and Enterprise Advisory service lines of the firm. KPMG currently is the leading advisor for Family businesses in Sri Lanka. She is also an Audit Partner specializing in Banking, Finance and Insurance. She is an Elected Board member of KPMG Sri Lanka and the Co-chair of Women Corporate Directors (WCD) Sri Lanka Chapter.
