Suren Rajakarier

Suren has over 30 years of experience in audit & assurance service and functions as the Head of Audit and Chief Operating Officer of KPMG in Sri Lanka, serving multinationals and local companies in a wide range of industries. As head of Learning and Development for the firm he leads, trains, reviews and monitors progress with globally recognized CPD requirements. He leads the financial service practice in Sri Lanka, specially in Banking & Insurance operations. He also served as the Head of Financial Services for the Middle East & South Asia Region, overlooking business activities of 15 countries operating in the region, which include; strategizing, product/solutions introduction, regular review and implementing thought leadership initiatives, etc.
