Ranjani is an Audit Partner and Head of Markets for KPMG in Sri Lanka. She has over 20 years of professional service experience across sectors and functions as the Partner in charge for the Banking Sector Market Group for KPMG in Sri Lanka. She functions as the Lead Audit partner for large group of companies and has extensive experience in carrying out audits for Banking and Financial Services entities in Sri Lanka including carrying out Audits for the local Branch offices of International Banking Entities. Ranjani previously served a 3 year term secondment as a Manager with the Melbourne Office of KPMG in Australia from 1999 to 2002 where she managed audit and review engagements for a number of clients in the Banking and Financial Services sector. She also represents KPMG Sri Lanka in the KPMG Middle East South Asia (MESA) Financial Sector Network. Ranjani is leading the IFRS 9 transition projects for Banks and Finance companies in Sri Lanka. As the FRM partner she has been involved in engagements relating to VaR validation, Assessment of Risk Adjusted Return on Capital (RAROC), Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment process (ICAAP) and implementation of Risk assessment tools and models
