KPMG Caucasus and Central Asia welcomes Vasily Storozhuk as a Senior Advisor to the Natural Resources Practice. His extensive experience in metals and mining will help KPMG provide stronger support to clients in executing complex projects and strategic initiatives across the Caucasus and Central Asia.
In his new role, Vasily will drive the origination of M&A, strategy, and transformation projects, assist in executing large-scale engagements, and strengthen relationships with key Metals & Mining clients in the region. He will also provide strategic advice to clients and internal product teams, helping to accelerate growth and value creation across the sector.
Vasily brings more than 25 years of industry experience, including serving as Group CFO at UMMC Group, where he oversaw finance for one of the largest vertically integrated holdings in non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy, gold mining, and coal. His expertise spans M&A, project finance, strategic transformations, and investor relations, with experience in North America, Africa, the CIS, and the Middle East.
