Dear Readers,
The Ministry of Finance considers introducing amendments to the rules for the processing, storage, and transmission of data from cash register machines (CRMs) with data transmission capabilities. The draft order was published on the "Open NPA" portal for public discussion.
Setting a Data Transmission Deadline
The proposed amendments introduce the deadline for fiscal data operators to transmit information about monetary transactions to the tax authorities' information system – daily, within one hour of receipt.
Enhancing Fiscal Data Operators' Portals
Fiscal data operators will be required to enhance their portals by:
- Integrating catalogs of goods, services, and works;
- Determining and transmitting the geolocation of CRMs to the tax authorities;
- Daily monitoring of the monetary transaction data reception and transmission.
Purpose of the Amendments
The changes aim to formalize the obligation to include codes of the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity or the Unified Classifier of Goods, Works, and Services in fiscal receipts and electronic VAT invoices. They also introduce a requirement to provide geolocation data during the procedure for registration or deregistration of CRMs.
The draft order is open for public discussion until 26 November 2024.
