The Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 542 “On measures for economic liberalization” introduced a number of measures in order to free up economic space and fully realize the potential of private entrepreneurship. One of the measures is imposement of moratorium until 31 December 2026 on creation of quasi-public sector entities with exception of need to ensure compliance with the Law “On the return of illegally acquired assets to the state” as well as special cases under direct orders of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
For information: quasi-public sector entities - state enterprises, limited liability partnerships, joint stock companies including national management holdings, national holdings, national companies, the founder, participant or shareholder of which is the state as well as subsidiaries, dependent and other legal entities that are affiliated with them in accordance with the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
