Dear readers,
Foreigners can obtain an IIN through foreign institutions of Kazakhstan (Embassies and General Consulates).
According to the Joint Order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Order No.11-1-4/113), Ministry of Internal Affairs (Order No.246) and Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Order No. 166/НҚ), dated 19 March 2024, the relevant pilot project will be implemented from 13 April to 31 December 2024.
A foreign national must personally apply to a foreign institution of Kazakhstan with the following documents to obtain an IIN:
- application in the prescribed form;
- a copy of the identity document (international passport) and its original for verification.
The service delivery period is one business day after the submission of all documents.
