Dear Readers,

The President approved Law1 On the State Budget for 2024 – 2026. The Law establishes the following indexes effective from 1 January 2024:

  • The minimum salary is 85 000 tenge (currently – 70 000 tenge);
  • The minimum state basic pension is 28 215 tenge (currently – 24 341 tenge);
  • The minimum pension is 57 853 tenge (currently – 53 076 tenge);
  • Monthly index factor is 3 692 tenge (currently – 3 450 tenge);
  • The cost of living for the calculation of basic social benefits is 43 407 tenge (currently - 40 567 tenge).
