Dear Readers,

An order1 of the Minister of Justice introduced amendments to the rules for the state registration of legal entities.

The order:

  •  Expanded the list of legal entities registered by the Ministry of Justice;
  •  Extended an electronic registration option to medium-size entities (earlier available only for small-size entities);
  • Clarified the procedures for the state authorities’ interruption of the registration period and the state authorities’ refusal to register a legal entity;
  • Introduced changes to the appeal procedure against the state authorities’ decisions on the registration of legal entities.

The amendments entered into force on 1 November 2021.
