We are delighted to invite you to participate in the XXI KPMG Central Asian Online Chess Tournament!
The online championship will unite KPMG's longstanding partners from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Winners of the tournament will get exclusive gifts.
Please, carefully read the information below if you wish to participate.
When Will the Tournament Take Place?
18 May (Saturday), 12:00 (Astana time) – Official start of the tournament, but we kindly ask you to connect at least 30 minutes before the start for checking technical aspects.
Kazakhstan Chess Federation – Official partner and co-host of the tournament.
How to Register?
You must complete (1) a short survey and open an account on (2) the Lichess.org platform. The registration deadline is 10th of May.
How You're Going to Play?
Each organization/company can be represented only by 3 current employees at the tournament.
Each of you has to create an official account on Lichess.org by following this particular format:
The name of your organization_Board number_your surname (Example: KPMG_1_Serikov or Eurasianbank_2_Aliyeva)
This is Highly Important!
- You must attend the test calls which will be held on 14 and 17 May. We will send you the link after your registration.
- Please arrive on time on the test call and tournament day.
- You cannot dial from your smartphone. Please use your laptop or PC.
- Check your internet in advance. Please arrange a strong connection beforehand.
- To connect, use only a specific web browser: Google Chrome.
- Make yourself and your PC/laptop seen very well by jury members.
All other necessary details will be provided to you by KPMG's organization committee.
