Timur Omashev joined KPMG in 2009. He has over 14 years of experience in advisory services. Timur’s specialization is realization of complex projects related to implementation of the corporate programs for development, transformation and automation of the financial processes of the companies, and promotion of institutional and economic reforms.

Since 2015, Timur has been the leader of Digital Finance team, which provides services to the major Central Asian companies in finance management and financial function digitalisation.

Since 2019, Timur has been also the KPMG leader in International Development Assistance Services (IDAS). IDAS implies an active work and cooperation with the international financial institutions such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Asian Development Bank, etc.

  • Since 2023, he has headed the Consulting practice of KPMG Central Asia and the Caucasus.
  • Since 2022, he has been a member of the board of the British Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan.
  • Since 2023, he has been a member of the advisory board of De Montfort University (DMU) Kazakhstan.
