Assel has about 10 years of experience in tax advisory, specializing in compliance in corporate, indirect and international taxation. The tax compliance group under Assel’s leadership helps foreign investors develop and organize tax and accounting procedures in accordance with the legislation from the very beginning of their activities in Kazakhstan. Assel leads the personal taxation group, providing services in the field of tax liabilities of employers and individuals, including personal tax liabilities arising from their movement between countries. Assel also has expertise in the field of accounting of companies in accordance with IFRS and helps companies effectively manage tax risks associated with accounting.
