Arman has 10 years of total experience in customs authorities. During his professional activity participated in the development of the Customs Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and regulatory legal acts in the field of customs regulation, exercised control over the customs operations and customs procedures, the activities of persons in the field of customs affairs (owners of temporary storage warehouses, customs warehouses, free warehouses, duty-free stores, etc.)
Arman joined the KPMG team in 2020. His areas of specialization include:
- customs regulation of foreign trade transactions,
- consulting on optimizing business processes and simplifying customs procedures,
- applying investment preferences,
- participating in and supporting customs inspections and challenging their results.
Arman's experience also includes projects related to customs diagnostics, questions concerning determination of customs value and classification of goods in accordance with the EAEU CN of FEA codes.
