Arman Akhanov

Arman Akhanov owns an MA in Financial Management (Majors in Project Finance) and can count on more than 15 years of experience in the field banking, project finance and infrastructure financial development. Arman has over 10 years of experience in the management of consultancy contracts for international large-scale infrastructure and PPP projects. Arman joined KPMG in 2011. With KPMG he had advised governments, International Financial Institutions and international and local private investors on preparation and implementation of numerous PPP infrastructure projects in transportation, healthcare and power & utilities sectors. He advised Kazakh government on implementation of a Law on PPP in 2015. He specializes on projects financed by the most prominent International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and international organizations, such as the IFC, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Asian Development Bank (ADB) and USAID. His expertise includes leadership of multidisciplinary consultancy projects providing structuring, financial modelling and project management coordination at each stage of the project cycle. During his career Arman has managed PPP projects in the region as a project leader and financial advisor.
