삼정KPMG(http://kpmg.com/kr) 이하 "회사"라 함)는 ‘정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호 등에 관한 법률’과 ‘개인정보 보호법’ 상의 개인정보보호 규정을 준수하며, 관련 법령에 의거한 개인정보처리방침을 정하여 이용자 권익 보호에 최선을 다하고 있습니다.
회사는 개인정보 처리방침을 통하여 이용자가 제공하는 개인정보가 어떠한 용도와 방식으로 이용되고 있으며, 개인정보보호를 위해 어떠한 조치가 취해지고 있는지 알려드립니다.
회사의 개인정보처리방침은 다음과 같은 내용을 담고 있습니다.

(6) 고객 또는 고객사로부터 위탁받은 업무 수행 시(여기서 ‘위탁업무’라 함은, KPMG가 고객 또는 고객사의 요청을 통해 법적인 효력을 가진 계약서를 토대로 특정한 서비스를 제공하는 업무를 말합니다.)
해당 서비스에 대해 회사와 고객사 사이에서 승인된 계약서 또는 이에 준하는 법적 효력을 가진 문서에서 정의된 항목을 수집합니다.
<개인정보의 수집방법>
회사는 회사의 사이트(공식 사이트, 채용 사이트, Alumni 사이트)를 통한 사용자 입력 방법 및 출력된 형태의 종이문서, 이메일 및 전자적 파일형태를 통해 개인정보를 수집하며, 경우에 따라 관련법에서 인정된 방법을 통해 일부 정보를 수집할 수도 있습니다.
첫째, 입사지원자에 대한 채용절차진행, 채용관련 의사소통 등을 위한 제반 업무
둘째, 신규입사자에 대한 입사절차진행 및 각종 지원 업무
셋째, 임직원들의 인적사항관리, 사내네트워크 및 복리후생프로그램 운영 및 대외활동에 관련된 행정지원 업무
넷째, 회사의 공식 홈페이지 및 홍보 및 네트워크 운영업무
다섯째, 고객 또는 고객사로부터 위탁받은 업무 수행
회사는 개인정보를 "2. 개인정보의 이용목적"에서 고지한 범위 내에서 사용하며, 이용자의 사전 동의 없이는 동 범위를 초과하여 이용하거나 원칙적으로 이용자의 개인정보를 외부에 공개하지 않습니다. 다만, 아래의 경우에는 예외로 합니다.
이용자들이 사전에 동의한 경우 및 기타 법에 의해 요구된다고 선의로 판단되는 경우 (예. 관련법령에 의거 적법한 절차에 의한 정부/수사기관의 요청이 있는

개인정보 제공자가 회사에서 제공하는 서비스를 이용하는 동안 회사는 이용자의 개인정보를 계속적으로 보유하며 서비스 제공 등을 위해 이용합니다. 이용자가 직접 회원탈퇴를 신청하거나 개인정보 삭제를 요청한 경우 즉시 열람이나 이용이 불가능한 상태로 처리됩니다.
단, 채용사이트를 통해 접수된 이력서의 보유기간은 2년 미만을 원칙으로 하며, 2년이 경과된 시점의 이력서는 자동 파기하도록 하고 지원자가 입사지원서 삭제를 원할 경우에는 채용사이트에서 직접 삭제가 가능하며, 삭제 요청이 있을 경우에는 즉시 개인정보를 파기하는 등 필요한 조치를 취하도록 하겠습니다.
회사는 원칙적으로 개인정보 수집 및 이용목적이 달성된 후에는 해당 정보를 즉시 파기합니다. 파기절차 및 방법은 다음과 같습니다.
가. 파기절차
이용자가 입사지원 및 KPMG 홈페이지 회원가입, 질의 등을 위해 입력한 정보는 목적이 달성된 후 별도의 DB로 옮겨져(종이의 경우 별도의 서류함) 내부 방침 및 기타 관련 법령에 의한 정보보호 사유에 따라(보유 및 이용기간 참조) 일정 기간 저장된 후 파기됩니다.
나. 파기방법
종이에 출력된 개인정보는 분쇄기로 분쇄하거나 소각을 통하여 파기합니다. 그리고, 전자적 파일 형태로 저장된 개인정보는 기록을 재생할 수 없도록 삭제합니다.
이용자 및 법정 대리인은 등록되어 있는 자신 혹은 당해 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 조회하거나 수정할 수 있으며 가입해지를 요청할 수 있습니다. 이용자 혹은 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보 조회 및 수정을 위해서는 “개인정보변경’(또는 ‘회원정보수정’ 등)을, 가입해지(동의철회)를 위해서는 회원탈퇴”를 클릭하여 본인 확인 절차를 거치신 후 직접 열람, 정정 또는 탈퇴가 가능합니다. 개인정보관리 담당자에게 서면, 전화 또는 이메일로 요청할 수 있습니다.
이용자가 개인정보의 오류에 대한 정정을 요청한 경우, 정정을 완료하기 전까지 당해 개인정보를 이용하지 않습니다. 또한 잘못된 개인정보를 제3자에게 이미 제공한 경우에는 정정 처리결과를 제3자에게 즉시 통지하여 정정이 이루어지도록 처리하고 있습니다.
회사는 이용자 혹은 법정 대리인의 요청에 의해 해지 또는 삭제된 개인정보는 “5. 개인정보의 보유 및 이용기간”에 명시된 바에 따라 처리하고 그 외의 용도로 열람 또는 이용할 수 없도록 처리하고 있습니다.
8. 개인정보 자동 수집 장치의 설치/운영 및 거부에 관한 사항
회사는 이용자의 정보를 수시로 저장하고 찾아내는 ‘쿠키(cookie)’ 등을 운용하는 경우도 있습니다. 쿠키란 회사의 웹사이트를 운영하는데 이용되는 서버가 이용자의 브라우저에 보내는 아주 작은 텍스트 파일로서 이용자의 컴퓨터에 저장됩니다.
가. 쿠키의 사용 목적
쿠키는 이용자가 웹 사이트에 접속할 경우 이용자의 환경 설정을 유지하고 빠른 웹 서비스를 제공하기 위해 이용됩니다.
나. 쿠키의 설치/운영 및 거부
이용자는 쿠키 설치에 대한 선택권을 가지고 있습니다. 따라서, 이용자는 웹브라우저에서 옵션을 설정함으로써 모든 쿠키를 허용하거나, 쿠키가 저장될 때마다 확인을 거치거나, 아니면 모든 쿠키의 저장을 거부할 수도 있습니다.
쿠키 설정을 거부하는 방법으로는 이용자가 사용하는 웹 브라우저의 옵션을 선택함으로써 모든 쿠키를 허용하거나 쿠키를 저장할 때마다 확인을 거치거나, 모든 쿠키의 저장을 거부할 수 있습니다.

단, 쿠키 설치를 거부하였을 경우 서비스 제공에 제한이 있을 수 있습니다.
회사는 이용자들의 개인정보를 취급함에 있어 개인정보가 분실, 도난, 유출, 변조 또는 훼손되지 않도록 안전성 확보를 위하여 다음과 같은 기술적/관리적 대책을 강구하고 있습니다.
가. 비밀번호 암호화
회사 채용사이트를 통한 입사지원 및 홈페이지 회원가입 시 설정한 비밀번호는 암호화되어 저장 및 관리되고 있어 본인만이 알고 있으며, 개인정보의 확인 및 변경도 비밀번호를 알고 있는 본인에 의해서만 가능합니다.
나. 해킹 등에 대비한 대책
회사는 해킹이나 컴퓨터 바이러스 등에 의해 회원의 개인정보가 유출되거나 훼손되는 것을 막기 위해 침입차단 시스템을 이용하여 외부로부터의 무단 접근을 통제하고 있습니다. 또한 백신프로그램을 설치하여 시스템이 악성코드나 바이러스 등에 감염되지 않도록 방지하고 있습니다.
그리고, 이용자의 개인정보를 안전하게 보호하기 위하여 기타 시스템적으로 보안성을 확보하기 위한 가능한 모든 기술적 장치를 갖추려고 노력하고 있습니다.
이용자는 회사의 온라인 입사지원 및 회원가입, 기타 서비스 등을 이용하는 과정에서 발생하는 모든 개인정보보호 관련 민원을 개인정보관리 책임자 혹은 담당부서에게 문의할 수 있습니다. 회사는 이용자들의 문의사항에 대해 성실하게 답변을 드릴 것입니다.

1. Collection and use of personal information
We obtain personal information about you if you choose to provide it — for example, to contact mailboxes or to register for certain services. In some cases, you may have previously provided your PII to KPMG (if, for example, you are a former employee). By registering and/or submitting personal information to KPMG, you are also agreeing to the use of this information in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Your personal information is not used for other purposes, unless we obtain your permission, or unless otherwise required or permitted by law or professional standards. For example, if you send us an email message requesting information about KPMG, we will use your email address and other information you supply to respond to your request. If you send us a resume or curriculum vitae (CV) to apply online for a position with KPMG, we will use the information that you provide to match you with available KPMG job opportunities.
In some cases where you have registered for certain services we may store your email address temporarily until we receive confirmation of the information you provided via an email (i.e. where we send an email to the email address provided as part of your registration to confirm a subscription request).
KPMG generally collects only the personal information necessary to fulfill your request. Where additional, optional information is sought, you will be notified of this at the point of collection.
KPMG only collects "sensitive" personal information when the relevant individuals voluntarily provide us with this information or where such information is required or permitted to be collected by law or professional standards. Sensitive information includes personal information regarding a person's race, ethnicity, political beliefs, trade union membership, religious or similar beliefs, physical or mental health, sexual life or criminal record. Please use your discretion when providing sensitive information to KPMG, and under any circumstances, do not provide sensitive information to KPMG, unless you thereby consent to KPMG's use of that information for its legitimate business purposes and consent to the transfer and storage of such information to and in KPMG databases. 1.1 Automatic collection of personal information
In some instances, KPMG and its service providers uses cookies, web beacons and other technologies to automatically collect certain types of information when you visit us online, as well as through emails that we may exchange. The collection of this information allows us to customize your online experience, improve the performance, usability and effectiveness of KPMG's online presence, and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing activities.
An IP address is a number assigned to your computer whenever you access the internet. It allows computers and servers to recognise and communicate with one another. IP addresses from which visitors appear to originate may be recorded for IT security and system diagnostic purposes. This information may also be used in aggregate form to conduct web site trend and performance analysis.

To provide website visitors with more choice on how their data is collected by Google Analytics, Google have developed the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The add-on communicates with the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) to indicate that information about the website visit should not be sent to Google Analytics. The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on does not prevent information from being sent to the website itself or to other web analytics services.
A web beacon is a small image file on a web page that can be used to collect certain information from your computer, such as an IP address, the time the content was viewed, a browser type, and the existence of cookies previously set by the same server. KPMG only uses web beacons in accordance with applicable laws.
KPMG or its service providers may use web beacons to track the effectiveness of third party web sites that provide us with recruiting or marketing services or to gather aggregate visitor statistics and manage cookies.
You have the option to render some web beacons unusable by rejecting their associated cookies. The web beacon may still record an anonymous visit from your IP address but cookie information will not be recorded.
In some of our newsletters and other communications, we may monitor recipient actions such as email open rates through embedded links within the messages. We collect this information to gauge user interest and to enhance future user experiences.
KPMG may collect and use the geographical location of your computer or mobile device. This location data is collected for the purpose of providing you with information regarding services which we believe may be of interest to you based on your geographic location, and to improve our location-based products and services.
1.2 Social media widgets and applications
KPMG web sites may include functionality to enable sharing via third party social media applications, such as the Facebook Like button and Twitter widget. These social media applications may collect and use information regarding your use of KPMG web sites (see details on 'Social Sharing' cookies above). Any personal information that you provide via such social media applications may be collected and used by other members of that social media application and such interactions are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide the application. We do not have control over, or responsibility for, those companies or their use of your information.
In addition, KPMG web sites may host blogs, forums, crowd-sourcing and other applications or services (collectively "social media features"). The purpose of social media features is to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and content. Any personal information that you provide on any KPMG social media feature may be shared with other users of that social media feature (unless otherwise stated at the point of collection), over whom we may have limited or no control.
KPMG understands the importance of protecting children's privacy, especially in an online environment. In particular, our sites are not intentionally designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. It is our policy never to knowingly collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13, except as part of an engagement to provide professional services.
2. Sharing and transfer of PII
We do not share personal information with unaffiliated third parties, except as necessary for our legitimate professional and business needs, to carry out your requests, and/or as required or permitted by law or professional standards.
In some instances, KPMG may share PII about you with various outside companies or service providers or vendors working on our behalf to help fulfill your requests.
In addition, KPMG may transfer certain PII across geographical borders to other KPMG member firms or outside companies working with us or on our behalf. KPMG may also store PII in a jurisdiction other than where you are based. By providing PII on online, visitors are consenting to this transfer and/or storage of their PII across borders.
KPMG may also disclose PII in connection with the sale, assignment, or other transfer of the business of the site to which the data relates, in order to respond to requests of government or law enforcement agencies or where this is required by applicable laws, court orders, or government regulations. These disclosures may also be needed for data privacy or security audits and/or to investigate or respond to a complaint or security threat. KPMG does not sell PII to any third parties. Also, KPMG will not transfer the PII you provide to any third parties for their own direct marketing use.
In general, you are not required to submit any PII to KPMG online, but we may require you to provide certain PII in order for you to receive additional information about our services and events. KPMG may also ask for your permission for certain uses of your PII, and you can agree to or decline those uses. If you opt-in for particular services or communications, such as an e-newsletter, you will be able to unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions included in each communication. If you decide to unsubscribe from a service or communication, we will try to remove your information promptly, although we may require additional information before we can process your request.
As described in "Cookies" above, if you wish to prevent cookies from tracking you as you navigate our sites, you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Note, however, that some portions of our sites may not work properly if you elect to refuse cookies.
If you have submitted personal information to KPMG, under most circumstances you have the right to reasonable access to that data to correct any inaccuracies. You can also make a request to update or remove information about you by contacting privacy@kpmg.com and we will make all reasonable and practical efforts to comply with your request, so long as it is consistent with applicable law and professional standards.
