On July 31, 2025, the Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance (“MOFE”) announced the "2025 Tax Reform Proposal". This Tax Reform Proposal will undergo a legislative notice period from August 1, 2025 to August 14, 2025 and it is expected to be submitted to the National Assembly for approval by September 3, 2025. The details of the respective tax law amendment proposal may be subject to changes during the legislative process, including review by the National Assembly which is expected to be finalized by the end of year.
