Tim is Director and Head of Turnaround & Restructuring at KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia. He has 10 years of experience in advising private and public sector clients and their stakeholders on cash & working capital optimization, turnaround, financial restructuring, cost reduction, non-performing loans and deal value creation projects across Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Tim specializes in leading cross-functional teams to identify and deliver tangible financial improvement opportunities across situations of underperformance, stress, distress and deals.
In Vietnam and Cambodia, Tim has supported national corporates, multinational corporations, state-owned entities, growth companies, private equity investors and sovereign wealth funds to identify and deliver EBITDA, cash & working capital and capital structure improvements.
Tim champions the use of data & analytics in order to provide insights at the most granular level and deliver results at deal speed.
Tim’s sector experience includes aerospace & defense; business services; consumer markets (FMCG); energy & power; financial services; food & beverage (hospitality); industrial manufacturing; media; mining; professional services; packaging; private equity; public sector & healthcare; retail; travel & leisure; technology; telecommunications; and utilities.
Tim also holds a role as Director in KPMG ASPAC’s Turnaround & Restructuring Center of Excellence, responsible for continuously evolving and rolling out leading practice Turnaround & Restructuring methodology across the ASPAC region.
Before joining KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia, Tim worked in KPMG in the UK’s Special Situations Group (Restructuring) for 6 years, delivering global financial performance improvement projects, often involving multiple geographies and workstreams.
