Takayuki Watanabe

After planning international business strategies for a major car manufacturer, Takayuki Watanabe engaged in corporate and service planning and operations at multiple major entertainment companies. Since joining KPMG Consulting, he has been helping companies transform their existing operations and establish new ventures through collaboration with external entities, including startups. In particular, he extensively supports collaborations between business companies and startups, both within Japan and internationally. This support spans from generation of ideas and examination of collaboration schemes to post-collaboration accompaniment. He also provides active support for open innovation within large and local companies, promoting the business development of Japanese entrepreneurs, and facilitating the expansion of overseas startups into Japan. He holds degrees from the School of Political Science and Economics and Graduate School of Business and Finance, Waseda University.
