Before joining KPMG, Toru worked for a Japanese major commercial bank and a US affiliated investment bank, being in charge of 1) credit research in financial restructuring or M&A financing situations, 2) M&A advisory, and 3) financing businesses. He joined KPMG FAS in 2009. His role in KPMG is 1) M&A advisory, 2) Valuation (both for transaction and accounting purpose), 3) Financial Modeling, and 4) Debt Advisory services. He is currently Co-Representative partner of KPMG FAS, leading overall business development and service delivery activities of the firm. He is also leading Corporate Finance Division, taking charge of Trading Houses, Financial Services and Private Enterprise sectors.
