Toru Sumikawa

Before joining KPMG, Toru worked for one of the Japanese major commercial banks and a US affiliated investment bank, being in charge of credit research work for corporate rehabilitation and M&A financing projects, as well as M&A advisory and financing businesses. He joined KPMG FAS Co., Ltd. in 2009. His role in KPMG is 1) M&A advisory, 2) Valuation (both for transaction and accounting purpose), 3) Financial Modeling, and 4) financing advisory work. He covers Private Enterprise, General Trading Houses and Financial Sectors. He also has extensive experience in advisory work relating to financing projects by start-up companies as well as building up CVCs.
