Mr. Otani has been an engineer, solution sales, business transformation consultant, and client partner at a major global IT firm. He moved to KPMG in 2013. From 2016 for 3 years, he was an expat to KPMG U.S. to represent Japanese companies in North America, returning to Japan in 2019 to assume his current position. He has been leading the trading company industry on topics such as corporate department business transformation and digital transformation (DX), time-series forecasting using machine learning, human resource and organizational transformation, cybersecurity, and corporate governance.
