KPMG Ignition Tokyo (KIT) is developing a long-term practical internship program called the “Internship Program 點火 (Tenka*1)” which provides the opportunity to engage in actual projects at an actual worksite.
This program is a long-term internship (required participation for at least 6 months). Please check your schedule in advance before applying.
*1 “Tenka,” a Japanese word meaning “ignition,” is used in KIT’s name and was employed as the name of the program so that students will “ignite their aspirations to learn and build their careers.”
Internship Program 點火 (Tenka)
The Tenka Intern Program is unique. Unlike other internship programs in Japan this is a 6 month paid work experience. Interns are assigned to real business project work at KIT to experience professional growth as part of a team. Our ambition is to co-create a better work place and a better society.
Real-World Experience
After you join KIT, we do not provide “exclusively for intern” work. You will be assigned to a core business project. Depending on the project phase, you will be exposed to various kinds of project work.
Self-Leadership
We believe “Self-Leadership” is an essential mindset as a professional. We believe in empowering our members, including interns, to acquire a “Self-Leadership” that will lead to their ultimate motivation and growth.
Skill Enhancement
Most importantly, developing your professional skills is central to internships at KIT. Each member is supported by our guild system, and a guild counselor who supports your personally growth path. This includes access to a variety of learning resources and guild activities.
