Norman has over 25 years of experience in providing tax services. He joined KPMG in Jamaica in 2000, prior to which he was a senior auditor at The Revenue Board (a Government of Jamaica’s statutory body), where he conducted comprehensive audits for income tax, payroll taxes, General Consumption Tax and customs. He has considerable experience working with international clients in respect of acquisitions, tax planning, due diligence and tax diagnostic reviews. He is Head of the firm’s Tax Practice, based in Kingston, Jamaica.
His professional experience spans several sectors across KPMG in Jamaica’s client base and this experience is supported by his relationships at all levels of the Revenue Services in Jamaica.
His clients include entities in the financial services sector, manufacturing and distribution industries, mining media and telecommunications, utilities, and public sector entities.
He has worked on a number of mergers & acquisitions such as the acquisition of Royal Bank of Trinidad and Tobago Limited by Royal Bank of Canada Limited and the acquisition of local bauxite entities by United Company Rusal.
