As the Global Chairman and former Canadian Managing Partner of KPMG Enterprise, Dennis Fortnum has helped some of Canada’s most successful entrepreneurs grow successful businesses and realize the value of their efforts through timely exit or succession strategies. For over 35 years Dennis has been providing audit, strategy, acquisition, and finance-related services to his clients. Dennis is also very active in his community having been involved with a number of not-for-profit organizations, including The Children’s Wish Foundation. He has been involved with the Foundation in various roles almost since its inception 25 years ago and currently serves on the Children’s Wish Foundation’s Advisory Board. Through his efforts, more than 20,000 wishes have been granted to children with life threatening illnesses. Dennis is also an active member of the Board of Directors of the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation where he chairs the Audit, Finance and Investment Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee. He was recently awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of his commitment and contribution to his community.
