David Conen

David is the Head of Tax for KPMG Islands Group and also leads the AEOI and Economic Substance teams for KPMG Cayman Islands. David has over 24 years of experience with KPMG’s Vancouver and Cayman Islands member firms with respect to U.S. inbound and outbound tax reporting including large compliance assignments requiring both income tax and foreign reporting disclosures. He advises clients on international partnership and corporate tax issues including hedge fund and private equity fund reporting (including Schedule K1s and tax return filings), insurance taxation, check the box elections, Subpart F considerations and U.S. trade or business reviews. Additionally, David assists clients on PFIC analysis and reporting.
