Danica is a Manager in the Advisory practice at KPMG in CARICOM, also bringing together experience from the auditing practice, providing an innovative perspective on engagements. She has over eight (8) years’ experience in the provision of professional services including: internal auditing, risk assessments, capital management and recovery and resolution planning, external auditing and other financial statement advisory services in varied industries: insurance, financial, non- banking financial, tourism and public sectors, both locally and regionally. She has knowledge of enterprise risk management methodology and has led internal controls over financial reporting engagements for a large regional insurance company providing technical expertise in the execution of risk assessments and controls testing. Her experience also includes reviewing client’s risk profiles for a comprehensive capital management and recovery and resolution plan for financial institutions. She also has technical knowledge and experience in the execution of financial statement preparation and external financial statement audits in varied industries including: financial services, insurance and brokerage services, public sector, retail, education, healthcare and the hotel and tourism industry.
