KPMG in India has aimed to create a Thought Leadership wherein it has showcased an As-Is scenario of Delhi’s tourism landscape. This includes the existing points of interests in the city and quantifies the tourism footfall. In addition, the report has presented a case study wherein the aim has been to present a comparative landscape of tourism scenario of cities such as Dubai and Paris as against Delhi bringing out the key elements required for a city to become an international tourism destination. Furthermore, the report presents ideas which if implemented with synergized efforts of both the public and private sector, has the potential of transforming Delhi into an international tourist destination.
