January 30, 2021 Directorate General of Civil Aviation Passengers travelling to United Kingdom Indian Government has extended the restrictions on flights to and from the United Kingdom until February 14, 2021, allowing airlines to operate only 30 weekly flights between the two countries. Earlier, the restrictions were imposed since January 8 till January 23. Delhi Government has also issued separate guidelines regarding institutional quarantine for such passengers arriving New Delhi from UK. Read here
January 30, 2021 Government of Uttar Pradesh Uttar Pradesh UP Government further relaxes Covid-19 restrictions in fresh Covid-19 Guidelines which will be applicable from February 1. As per the new Guidelines, maximum 200 individuals are allowed at a time in a closed institution such as hall or room. Use of face mask and social distancing norms will remain mandatory. Less than 50 percent of the ground area will be allowed to use against the earlier limit of 40 per cent. Read here
January 29, 2021 Canadian Government Passengers travelling to Canada Canadian PM has on February 29, 2021,  announced a new set of Covid-19 restrictions for travellers planning to visit the country.  Effective midnight February 3, 2021, in addition to providing a  proof of a negative pre-departure test, travellers arriving in Canada will also have to take compulsory Covid-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests. While awaiting their results, they will be required to quarantine in a government-approved hotel at their own expense. Read here

January 21, 2021 - Individuals seeking to obtain vaccine dosages As per a Hindu Business line report, the government has made it mandatory for people to link their mobile number with Aadhaar mandatory for receiving Covid-19 vaccination. PM Modi had confirmed last week that Aadhar card would be necessary to identify people for the vaccination. January 14, 2021 High Court of Delhi Functioning of Courts In view of the decline in the spread of Covid-19 cases in the NCT of Delhi from past few days, Delhi High Court has instructed the Principal District & Sessions Judges and Principal Judge, Family Court (HQs) to prepare a roster of all the subordinate courts of their respective Districts in such a manner that such courts sit physically on alternate day basis and continue to take up the matters through 'video conferencing' on non-physical days. The Karnataka High Court has extended the interim orders passed by the Karnataka High Court, all the District Courts, Civil Courts, Family Courts, Labour Courts, Industrial Tribunals and all other Tribunals in the State, as well as the order of closure under Section 4 of the Limitation Act, 1963, till the January 31, 2021.

Air travel to Canada from India under Vande Bharat
The Canadian government has made it mandatory for all Canada-bound international travellers to produce a negative Covid-19 test result before being allowed to board a flight to a Canadian destination. The Canadian Government will only accept results from the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RTPCR) or transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification or RT-LAMP tests, which will have to be taken within 72 hours before the departure of the Canada-bound flight.
Passengers booked on the incoming Vande Bharat Mission flights operated by Air India with a reciprocal arrangement with Air Canada, will be impacted by the new measures
